While these routes are fixed, your expert guide will provide personalized guidance and instruction, helping you navigate the perfect path to match your skill level. With its rich array of holds, the possibilities are dynamic—you can follow established lines or push your limits by tackling harder paths using less obvious holds.
Your expert guide will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, providing all the training and equipment you need. This unique, untamed spot offers an authentic adventure, as its routes are not officially graded, making every climb a truly one-of-a-kind discovery, crafted just for you.

What to Bring
To ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience during your Private Rock Climbing Session, please bring the following:
- Comfortable Clothing: Wear flexible, activewear that allows for full range of motion. Avoid loose clothing that could get caught. Trousers or shorts that cover your knees are often recommended for comfort and protection on the rock.
- Water & Snacks: Bring enough water to stay hydrated throughout the 3-hour activity. A small, energizing snack is also recommended.
- Sun Protection: As we’ll be outdoors on an exposed cliff, bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun.
- Hair Tie (if applicable): If you have long hair, please bring a hair tie to secure it, as it will need to be tied back for helmet use and safety.
- Small Backpack: A comfortable small backpack is useful for carrying your essentials.
Please note: All necessary climbing equipment (including harnesses, ropes, helmets, and climbing shoes) will be provided by your expert guide. If you have your own climbing equipment and prefer to use it, you are welcome to bring it. You just need to bring your personal items and your spirit of adventure!

The Adventure
Join this incredible 4-hour circular bike adventure (with approximately 3 hours of cycling), starting and ending at Cascais train station. We’ll kick off our journey by following a historic road, the “Ribeira das Vinhas Trail,” once a vital route for transporting agricultural goods from Sintra to Cascais. As we pedal, you’ll feel the serene calm of riding alongside a beautiful river, surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of nature, offering a peaceful escape from the city buzz.
Our first significant stop will be at Quinta do Pisão, a serene natural park. Here, we’ll take a refreshing break and immerse ourselves in the tranquil atmosphere of this sustainable farm and nature conservation project. You’ll have time to appreciate the verdant landscapes and the quiet beauty before we shift gears towards the stunning coastline.
From there, we’ll make our way to Guincho Beach, one of Portugal’s most iconic beaches. Prepare to be amazed by its wild beauty, vast golden sands, and the dramatic sight of powerful Atlantic waves crashing against the rugged coastline. You’ll also notice the unique dunes that characterize this impressive stretch of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park.
We’ll then continue our ride along the magnificent coastal road, offering breathtaking panoramic ocean views at every turn. As we near the end of our ride, if our rhythm and the weather allow, we may even have the opportunity to pause for a refreshing swim at a special, secluded spot nearby, adding a unique ocean dip to your adventure before we head back towards Cascais village.
The tour will conclude with a delightful ride through the heart of Cascais village. Experience the charming atmosphere as we cycle past its historic fortress, the bustling marina filled with yachts, and the picturesque bay, soaking in the lively yet relaxed ambiance of this traditional fishing village transformed into a vibrant town, bringing us full circle to our starting point.
What to Bring
We’ll provide the mountain bikes and helmets, but here’s what you should bring to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable ride, especially with the chance for a refreshing swim:
Comfortable Clothing: Wear suitable biking clothes that allow for freedom of movement and are appropriate for the day’s weather. Layers are always a good idea for coastal conditions!
Food & Water: Pack enough snacks and water to stay hydrated and energized throughout the entire ride.
Jacket: Even on sunny days, the weather can change quickly, especially by the coast. Bring a light jacket or an extra layer to stay warm if needed.
Sun Protection: We strongly recommend bringing sunscreen and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun.
Small Backpack: A small backpack is useful for carrying your essentials.
